—lyric essay, ‘In our waters’, in Plants & Personalities, published by Arts Mansfield, (print only), 2022. Runner-up memoir in “Bushy Tales” 2022 competition. Judge Sandy Fairthorne’s feedback: ‘After much deliberation, I have granted second prize to In our Waters, a beautifully written account of one family’s mysterious link with drownings over generations.
